    Beautiful. Do bank swallows (törmäpääsky in Finnish, the name means about the same as in American English) nest there?

    Some Cliff swallows (pretty sure that’s the same) nest there, but not many. Most of them build nests along the sides of bridges. This is home to a large population of Rock pigeons.

    That could well be North Otago in NZ.
    Deposited under an ocean, now topography, and home to godaloneknows how many critters
