Damn, three of these songs are not available to me. :(
Loved the mood created by the one I could watch, though -- very danceable in a relaxed sort of way.

Should have said -- the first three are unavailable; I could only see the last one.

Both new links for Grandmother’s Song work as does the last in the original post. None of the other in this post work.

The “Youtube topic -- Artist” style videos ceased to work here in Finland a bit before Xmas. My guess is that if Youtube or the record company would have to pay fees to the local composers’, lyricists’ and performers’ copyright organizations to get them reinstated (the organizations would then pocket the money and distribute it among the members three years later unless the copyright holders would find a way to join Teosto and/or Gramex).

I like the woodwinds in Grandmother’s song. For the light is also nice, the band Vaya Con Dios (from Belgium of all places) has had a bit similar feel in some of their songs.

Damn, sorry about that. The problem is that these artists don’t get posted by others, because so few people know about them. I’ll watch out for that in future posts.

You should be able to listen to Digging Roots’ songs via their website.

Thank you, one of the new links work (A Song for Mosom and Sunshine still don’t :( )! It happens sometimes, the stuff available in North America aren’t available here, don’t worry about it, I’ll try and search myself later.
Anyhow, Grandmother’s Song has a very calm, lullaby feel to it, while maintaining an underlying strength and power. I like it!

Caine, it’s all right. I should have been more polite. The only sure way to see if content is available in a some part of the world seems to be trial and error.

No, no, you were fine! I’m glad you and rq were able to play Grandmother’s Song, but disappointed you can’t play the rest.
