The stupid. The bigotry. The Pretend Persecution. It never ends. I think this story can be safely tucked into The Persecution Files.

I wonder what would happen if there was a theological dispute during bible study?

blf @2: I commented similarly on another blog where I read about this. I also wonder if traditionally black churches would have any pushback from trying to implement this program.

I’ve seen numerous news reports about shootings at US churches, mosques, synagogues and temples in recent years. Nearly all fell into one of two categories:

    1) White shooters attacking non-white or jewish buildings (e.g. Dylann Roof, the sikh temple shooting, etc.).

    2) Non-white shooters committing attacks on individuals for personal reasons (e.g. revenge, embezzlement, jealousy over extra marital affairs). The attacks were only related to the religions by where they happened, not motivated by it.

There may be exceptions, but very few.
