Your obligatary Easter bunny for skeptics

untitled

This little guy was supposedly born at a zoo in N. Korea and a member of a rare and endangered species, the so-called Fennec Hare. He’s adorable. But alas, he’s also a known fake making the rounds anew this Easter. Probably a kitten with photo shopped ears. Beware.

That’s the creepiest looking thing ever.

If it *is* real, I don’t ever want to meet one.

  2. Trebuchet says

@1, cuttlefish: I think I’d love to have a kitty like that. We already have one named “Bunny”, however.

  3. machintelligence says

@3 Especially if it was a button tailed Manx, with the peculiar hopping gait that they have. You might be able to flummox a creationist or two.

  4. gardengnome says

That’s what it is – it’s a transitional form. Move over ‘Crocoduck’, here’s the ‘Crabbit’ (or the ‘Rat’, but I think that one’s already taken).

Anyhow, if it was born in a ‘zoo’ in Nth. Korea it’s been eaten by now.

It’s a cabbit! I want one. I’ll hug him and pet him and call him George! Seriously, why is no one working on this? I’ll give a good money to someone who can make a genetically modified organism like that, as compared to glow in the dark rabbits, rats and cats. Also, real pink unicorns, why not… Our company will earn billions!
