The clip above and the quoted material below is all you need to know to accurately judge the utter dishonesty of today’s conservative movement:

CNN — House Republicans have added a measure aimed at limiting contraceptive coverage to the spending bill coming up for a vote Saturday night, a spokesman for Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Kansas, told CNN. .. Democrats say the measure is unnecessary because the administration has granted exemptions to contraceptive coverage to religious nonprofit institutions. But advocates, such as Huelskamp, insist that all institutions should be able to opt out of any preventative coverage for women that they find objectionable.

That’s GOP 101 right there, tying a socially conservative issue to something they don’t like. It’s just ironic given what their marketing arm was doing with creepy Uncle Sam at the same time the uterati faction is acting on their nature.

Not “all preventative coverage…” note, only “all preventative coverage for women…”. Nobody is going to be surprised by that wording, but any decent person ought to be outraged by it. And even moreso by the fact it’s even conceivable to utter such a thing without expecting a giant backlash.

and by “they” he means men. “All institutions run by men should be able to ….” It may not have occurred to them that any could be run by women.

Actual humans do not find preventative measures objectionable, period.

The repugthugs are complete misogynists, homophobs and hippocrits to a nth degree. Where are all the rational thinking people in the states, don’t they vote anymore. How can these asshats be elected again and again , you are sealing your own doom as the country gets dumb down by these backward thinking bible thumpers. I have lived in Europe for the last 15 years but I still vote a against these idiots when ever I can.

Uterati faction is a good and new one (to me anyhow) but I prefer to call them the Coathanger lobby myself.

Because that’s what we all know they’ll get if they get their way. Coathanger abortions with dead women and dead babies and extra fear, shame and loathing in a world already crammed far too full of that.

    “Pro-Life” my unwiped backside!
