Jon Huntsman turns climate change denier

Chasing the know-nothing vote is apparently more important to Jon Huntsman than the integrity he once claimed to prize. Whereas before the former Utah Governor accepted the scientific consensus on climate change (And evolution), now he’s paying homage to the deniers by way of the long debunked CRU email hack:

(TPM) — “[T]here is — there are questions about the validity of the science, evidenced by one university over in Scotland recently,” Huntsman said, referring to the East Anglia University conspiracy that continues to fuel climate change skepticism. “I think the onus is on the scientific community to provide more in the way of information, to help clarify the situation.”

That’ll do pig, that’ll do.

    I’ve considering switching my voter registration to republican just so I can vote in the primary for the single most batshit crazy of the GOP candidates. Except I can’t decide which one is the craziest.

    Some of you seem put a lot of faith in the idea that your fellow citizens won’t vote in the single most batshit crazy candidate.

    From one who’s seen the depths of what-the-fucking-fuck?! to which conservatives can and will sink; it’s a dangerous game you’re contemplating.

    Keep up with the growing mountains of data and findings on a daily basis then, what? Not to mention the apparently undigested thirty-odd year backlog.

    Perhaps his overlords in SLC are getting nervous about Mittens’ chances, and feel they need a stronger second horse in the race.

    Athe damn it, he was the sane one. It was like this odd sort of comfort, that there was one Republican candidate who was basically clued in to reality, and just disagreed with the Democrats about what to do. Even if he was horrendously unlikely to win anything, he was there. It made me feel like my country still had two parties instead of a party and a bad joke.

    @Change
    perhaps there really is an “East Anglia University” in Scotland that’s given to conspiracy! I mean there’s a Washington University in St. Louis (though they don’t, as far as I know, conspire much, if at all).
    Though, I suppose, it’s much more likely it’s a demonstration of the validity of Huntsman’s wanking.
