The Dawn team and NASA/JPL have put together images and a new video showing the asteroid Vesta in 3-D, and it’s pretty cool! I don’t know if the 3-D embed code will work, hence the mere 2-D video clip above, and the 3-D video linked here and posted below.

What made the “tracks” and is there a reason they are in the same axis as the rotation? ( Why, yes, I am showing my ignorance, why do you ask?)
