    If you want to go someplace where you can decompress and not get hassled by knuckleheads, I would recommend any of the Scandinavian countries. Mostly atheists here. I think the welfare states and relative absence of poverty provides a sence of security, and thus no need for invisible friends looking out for you.
    Even the priests and bishops are pretty laid-back. Gay people can be priests, too, at least here in Sweden.

    I am ashamed that this so called secular nation , India, so afraid to antagonize the fundamentalists, gave you hard time on visa issues. Secular minded Indians should have forced rather demonstrated to make sure you should have a permanent residence with possible citizenship. I sincerely apolozise on behalf of billion or so right minded Indians

    Kazi, lots of people in Sweden are named “Tor” without being believers of the old Norse pantheon. Why should Bengali-region names be different?
