Our ancestor!

Researchers say:

Our common ancestor with other mammals may have been a roughly rat-size animal that weighed no more than a half a pound, had a long furry tail and lived on insects.

Ah, I miss my tail!

    Well, much more recent ancestors had tails, so maybe we can get them back with a little tinkering. That is, more tail than that which some people are born with.

    It does not surprise that the people who deny human migration out of Africa (re: the genographic project) are the same people who deny the fact of evolution. Admitting the facts means they cannot claim superiority or justify their bigotry. All humans are Africans, and all humans are animals.

    OK, it’s supposed to be the earliest placental mammal. That means at least three mammal lineages survived the K-T extinction. So what did the monotreme and marsupial survivors look like? Wish the answers were easier to find.
