Apparently Trump tried a transparent grift, suggesting that the next G7 be held at one of his resorts, where he’d make a ton of money. Other diplomats basically jeered him, rather than asking, “are you offering this as a courtesy? You are generous to offer to put us all up for free.”
Trump’s not just an abusive jerk, he’s a manipulative asshole too. And it seems he takes every change that he gets to display his power against those that are weaker than him.

If you read Donald Trump’s victory speech, you can see that we’re going to have a great deal of progress made in the war on authenticity. Trump’s speech was clearly not a carefully prepared and manicured product from a writing-room.
It’s going to be an interesting 4 years.
