Jimmy Kimmel lets fly at Dennis Hastert

Former speaker of the House of Representatives Dennis Hastert was sentenced to 15 months in prison for bank fraud in that he violated banking laws in order to provide hush money to buy the silence of students he had sexually molested when he was a high school wrestling coach. At his sentencing, he admitted to having molested students and the judge called him a ‘serial child molester’ but the statute of limitations had expired on those charges.

Hastert was one of those who condemned Bill Clinton for what was consensual sex between him and Monica Lewinsky and led the impeachment movement against him. Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel had a good rant about Hastert and the hypocrisy of those who rant about other people’s morality while hiding their own skeletons.

For sure, conservative lawmakers should be less concerned about which bathrooms trans use, than they should be about which bathrooms catholic priests, megachurch pastors, and conservative lawmakers use.

To think, I might be innocently taking a whizz while some republican lawmaker is sneakily eyeing my gear. It’s disgusting!

This may sound like a stupid question, and please forgive my ignorance, but: who thinks it’s a good idea to have a statute of limitations on the sexual assault of children? (Answer, apparently, people in the USA…?)

There was a guy who worked at Auschwitz sentenced to four years in jail in Germany less than a year ago.
