Jordan Klepper covers the British elections

US elections are absurdly long and ridiculously expensive. People in other countries cannot believe what an absurd system we have in which one has to be either a multimillionaire or beholden to multimillionaires merely in order to be even considered as a serious candidate. Not only that, it is the GRAGGS issues (guns, race, abortion, gays, god, sex) that generate the most attention.

Jordan Klepper of The Daily Show went over to London to compare the recent British elections with the US ones and to give their candidates some advice.

Of course there is no mention of the fact British politicians are every bit as beholden to the Israel lobby as their American counterparts with 2/3 of Conservative MPs being “Friends of Israel” as well as an uncertain number of Labour and Liberal Democrats.

Unfortunately, you cannot be a “Friend of Israel” and a friend of democracy at the same time. Anyone carrying such a label would be boycotted in a sane electoral system.
