It’s funny how “gaffe” has become a synonym for “expressing oneself sincerely”.
And it’s just going to get worse for Mitt. The Obama campaign has an October Surprise in reserve, though it will probably be a PAC that pushes the story. Romney has been a consistent liar throughout his whole life. He’s told some very strange stories about a fatal car accident he was involved in when he was a missionary in France. It’s perfect, shows he’s a liar, shows he’s a chickenhawk, and will provoke anti-Mormon sentiments.

I love when John Stewart and the Daily Show staff have so much meaty material to tear into. They are just masters at what they do.
But then nearly every time they go and pound that on false-equivalency drum they love so much a little.
