This is the best example of “It’s funny because it’s true” I have ever seen.
In related news: I just heard that France is putting many of their embassies and consulates on lockdown starting Friday because Charlie Hebdo just released a special issue dedicated to the attacks on US embassies. The story on NPR pointed out that many quite educated people in the Muslim world simply don’t understand that that the government of France simply does not have the authority to stop the publication of a magazine. Just as the US government does not have the authority to censor The Innocence of Muslims.
