Bad Lip Reading — The Funniest Videos I’ve Seen in a Long Time

If you haven’t seen these videos yet and want a laugh, watch them! They’re made by BLR, an anonymous Texan who somewhat unsuccessfully tried to learn how to lip read when his mother went deaf and he saw her learning to lip read. The result was comedy gold.

These are my two favorites:

No love for the Obama video? That one’s got to be my favorite, especially the catchy refrain.

Let’s creep in the frozen aisle with just one thought:
Trick the bridesmaid to get her to take it off.
    She’ll take the mushroom out,
Unzip the windflap and love, and you can’t go wrong.

    Also:

Pressure to put on weight is one of the reasons we’ve got the red sweatsuits.

Although the Perry video has its moments. I understand there’s already a bumper sticker out there saying “Save a Pretzel for the Gas Jets”.

By the way, Youtube has a CNN report on BLR that includes some of the original footage, where you can see what Obama and Perry were really saying.

The Obama one has its moments too. The “Pressure to put on weight is one of the reasons we’ve got the red sweatsuits” line totally cracked me up. I think the Perry one is the best, though, but that’s probably because the guy really sounds like Perry since he’s a guy from Texas.

My wife is also fond of the line in the Obama video about “why thick Spartan women are so important.”

The Bachmann video sort of falls flat for me. Perhaps it’s the voice. Or maybe that it’s no crazier than what she says for real.

Michelle Bachmann has never made so much sense!

The speaking ones are okay, but I prefer the songs. Check out Russian Unicorn and Everybody Poops (the former even has a Muzak version of the latter at the end). The astonishing thing about most of them is that the songs BLR puts in are actually much better than the original ones, both in words and music. Highly entertaining.
