School Choice: Taxpayer-Funded Creationism, Bigotry, and Bias

A must see video by my friends and Talk2Action colleagues Bruce Wilson and Rachel Tabachnick exposing just what’s being taught in the textbooks being used in some taxpayer-funded schools. Here’s a five minute preview:   And here’s the full half hour video:

Marcus Bachmann and Benny Hill – Separated at Birth?

marcus-bachmann

OK, they couldn’t really have been separated at birth, since Benny Hill was born in 1924, but Marcus Bachmann kept reminding me of somebody — both in looks and homosexual-like mannerisms — but I just couldn’t put my finger on who it was. It finally dawned on me last night — Benny Hill!

Let’s All Blame the Starving in Africa on the End Times — Or Not Be Such a Moron and Try to Help

I though this would be a kind of weird thing to post here, but it’s really not because it shows the mentality of the religious nuts — you know, the kind of people who think prayer extravaganzas like Rick Perry’s little Jesus-fest last weekend are the answer to our country’s problems. You Asked For It, You Got It

In the comments on my little video of me playing the Star Spangled Banner, someone said they wanted more music videos, so here you go. I reconnected on Facebook with some people from a band I was in like fifteen years ago, and the songwriter who wrote this song we used to do about the …

This Week in Christian Nationalism

A few months ago, I decided that I wanted to launch a podcast this summer, mainly because I can just never find enough time to write about all the batshit crazy crap going on with the wingnut theocrats. I wasn’t planning on launching my podcast, which will be called “This Week in Christian Nationalism,” until …
