Melodysheep – We Are All Connected

Melodysheep is the creative force behind the Symphony of Science series of music videos. This time around, he fashions together a piece about the interconnected nature of the very small and the very large. As usual, he uses the voices and words of famous modern scientists with clever auto-tune manipulation and catchy electronic music to spectacular effect.

He writes:

“We Are All Connected” was made from sampling Carl Sagan’s Cosmos, The History Channel’s Universe series, Richard Feynman’s 1983 interviews, Neil deGrasse Tyson’s cosmic sermon, and Bill Nye’s Eyes of Nye Series, plus added visuals from The Elegant Universe (NOVA), Stephen Hawking’s Universe, Cosmos, the Powers of 10, and more. It is a tribute to great minds of science, intended to spread scientific knowledge and philosophy through the medium of music.

He is one of the first musicians to join the Rock Beyond Belief lineup, which you can read about here (and watch two more of his excellent videos).

You have to admit, there’s an irony in the topic of this post, given the uproar you and Johnson just started over a survey question about being “connected” to humanity and the world.

So are atheists “connected” or not?

LOL. Hello JD, thanks for the funny jab. As you can see from the original post I did on the SFT, I did not score a ’0′ out of 100.
