    From the flier:

“Imagine if people, in the tens of millions, filled the streets, powerfully declaring that this regime is illegitimate and demanding that it not be allowed to rule!

Just imagine … it’s easy if you try … 😆

I think impeachment is a better approach. Him and his cohorts will provide plenty of fodder in the coming months.

While I am thoroughly against the orange fascist, I think it is incorrect to say his election is illegitimate. According to the Constitution the Electoral College decides the winner, and not the popular vote. And Trump did win the Electoral College.

To claim his presidency is illegitimate is to play the same games the Republican fringe played for 8 years with Obama. We should be better than that.

However, I do think it is proper to point out that he did not win the popular vote and that claims of a landslide and a mandate are inappropriate. Trump needs to be reminded that he serves ALL Americans and that the majority of them do not view him favorably.

Nothing will stop the inauguration. This will not stop Trump.
Protesters will be dealt with by the police harshly as usual.
You Americans are in a world of shit, and it’s really scary to be your neighbors.

Sorry, but Hillary lost, Trump won by the rules laid out years ago.

    Sucks, eh?

Mobius, you are obviously right to say that Trump’s victory is legitimate according to US law. Of course, this means that the US presidential electoral system is not democratic in any rightful sense.

With all the Gerrymandering, I’m fine with saying the electoral college isn’t legitimate. I don’t know what, if anything, will work to get rid of Trump, but I’m going to do what I can.
