Republican Filth Getting What They Want: Women-Hating Congressfuckes Who Claim “Incidence Of Rape Resulting In Pregnancy Are Very Low”

Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), whose measure banning abortions after 20 weeks was being considered in the House Judiciary Committee, argued against a Democratic amendment to make exceptions for rape and incest by suggesting that pregnancy from rape is rare.

“Before, when my friends on the left side of the aisle here tried to make rape and incest the subject — because, you know, the incidence of rape resulting in pregnancy are very low,” Franks said.

… because, you know, the incidence of rape resulting in pregnancy are very low

Ignoring the “incidence … are” construction, it is clear what his intent is, even if unspoken:
It is so low, in fact, that those cases can safely be ignored

Crap – hit submit rather than preview:

This guy (and anyone who voices the same type of opinion) is a real low-life piece of scum.

The good news is that every republican that I can think of who has made a dumb-ass statement like this no longer has a political career: Richard Mourdock, Rick Santorum, Todd Akin, Linda McMahon, Roger Rivard, Clayton Williams, and the list growing!!!

You know what is really very low? The incidence of men flying airplanes into buildings. Oh, wait? You think that any men flying airplanes is unacceptable, but a certain number of women being forced to bear children of their rapists–and thus being irreversibly tied to the rapist– is fine and dandy?

    I stand corrected.

Yeah, we’l, they just passed a forced trans-vaginal ultrasound bill here in “progressive” Wisconsin (I.e. “Progressive” in Milwaukee and Madison, but blood red everywhere else).
