What Republican Filth Want: Women To Die After Being Forced To Carry Inviable Fetuses

After more than a month of delays, El Salvador’s Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday to deny a critically ill woman a lifesaving abortion. The 22-year-old woman, identified only as Beatriz, is 26 weeks pregnant with a nonviable, anencephalic fetus; her doctors have warned that, due to severe health complications related to Beatriz’s lupus, cardiovascular disease and kidney functioning, she may not survive the pregnancy.

Of course, though there may be quite some Republicans that think this is a good decision, they have nothing to do with it, as this is about El Salvador, and them being Catholic is the driving force here (comparable to the case in Ireland, not too long ago).

In the USA, there are Republican candidates (on the far right) wishing to prevent all or almost all abortions. “To save the life of the mother” is not always a solid exception. What if our best estimate is that there is only a 50% chance the mother will die if she goes to term? What about 15%? Over a very large population of pregnant women, women are going to die if people quibble about the right to access abortion.

And in many states, abortion is already restricted to the point of being practically impossible.

Agreed and agreed, but that doesn’t change my general sentiment, namely scolding at Republicans that for once have nothing to do with the topic itself (a woman in El Salvador having to deal with El Salvadorian laws). If that’s the way to bash republicans, we could start a topic everyday: “What Republican Filth Want: put gays in jail.
