When you’re not hitting well, you need to lay off pitches outside the strike zone and make the pitcher throw strikes. That way you get ahead in the count, and then you can wait for your pitch.

    LOL yet another reason why baseball is inferior to tree hockey (aka basketball).

    At least the play by play commentators during a tree hockey match mostly have to play catch up to the action and the stupid things they say are in reaction to what happens because baseball commentators say their stupid things in advance of the “action” killing any chance you might have had of enjoying the few seconds you stopped on the channel while finding something better on.
