The motherfucken Gmail app is pretty fucken decent, and a lot better than the iPad mail app that comes pre-installed. But unless I am missing something, there is no fucken way to save a PDF attachment so I can open the motherfucker in my PDF annotation app.

I also use the gmail app heavily.
The problem wit the gmail app is that everything you see is a web view; it is not a fully native application.
To open PDFs in other apps, I first view the PDF, then open the PDF in Safari, then open the PDF in Goodreader or PDFPen. For this to work, you have to be logged in to your gmail account in Safari.
On iOS there really isn’t saving or a user-navigable file system. Dropbox is a good tool for moving reliably between iPad and desktop computing.

I’m pretty convinced the ipadde is a Piece of Shitte. The only thing it has going for it is lots of apps. But there is too much moronic “the Apple Way is the Only Way” bullshitte.

The advantage of the mail app, is that can access multiple accounts at once, including Exchange (Outlook) mail servers, of which my employer has TWO. While I have a few quibbles with the mail app, like the inability to hyperlink text, it works reliably and puts all my mail in one place. I do have the gmail app as well, but the mail app just works more reliably, and has a cleaner interface and operation, albeit with a few limitations I can live with.

Okay if this is obvious forgive me but…
What is this all about!?!?! Haha I am trying to figure it out (or outte?) What is the deal with the e’s and doubling-down on consonants?! It’s awesome but it is lost on me.
iPadde does have a strangleholdde on tablettes right now, though that mightte (?) be changing.

If youe putte Adobe Acrotbatte on the iPadde, then when you clicke upon the attachements that have been PDFfed-up, lo, there you may find a submenu asking to save to iBookes or open in Acrobatte. This is what I have done for a good many things (my iPadde is used for musickal chartes, which negates the neede for a lampe upon the stande).
