Your rustic approach the the ends of certain words, on the other hand, definitely isn’t annoying. No! Not at all!

PP, those in the blogs you mentioned are very minor “popuses”. No, i don’t know to get rid of them

It looks like the owners of the blogs will have to do that themselves:

On the subject of objectionable formatting, has anyone else been seeing random mobile formatting lately?

OK, got it. From your favorite adblocker software (I use Adblock Plus on Firefox) add the filter “http://*.wp.com/*/js/”. The site seems to display OK after that, but if you want to narrow down the filter further, the only nuisance file you need to block is “videopress.js”.

That’s probably because those two guys are using the “Oh my god, I am so smart, I don’t pay a penny for hosting my blog” free wordpress.com platform.
I would say FUCKEN FREELOADERS…
By the way, why do I have to deal with those FUCKEN STUPID ADVERTISEMENTS on this site?
Does anyone knows how to get rid of thatte shitte?
LOL

Not recently, but I have had it happen to me randomly, three or four times since the inception of the site.
Robert:
How about an ad blocker? I actually use a script blocker, which catches a lot to begin with, as well as an ad blocker, so I can kill ads which annoy me.
A script blocker like NoScript is nice, as you can choose to allow scripts (temporarily or permanently)in case you need some functionality, or want to allow some ads to support the site. Same with AdBlock Plus for ads – assuming you don’t subscribe to a list (I don’t), it makes turning on or off ads easier to maintain.
Especially due to bandwidth and technology constraints in the past, I could barely use the internet without these filters. Unfortunately, advertising has not gotten any better or less annoying – especially animated shit that can’t play through just once. (How many times can you watch some stupid Microsoft ad or dancing critters from World of Warcraft?)
Your best bet is to try these extensions with a Mozilla browser. Chrome browsers have some passable add-ons, but the API sucks for developers, so any add-on is limited. I have no Idea about Safari or Internet Exploder, but IE had very few useful extensions of any sort last I looked (they mostly want to add more crap to your browser window).
Or go crazy and use a browser which runs no scripting at all, or try a text-only browser.

Also, if you have the Element Hiding Helper extension for the ABP extension, you can just click on the element to hide and and select the wordpress.com domain. For people who like pointy-clicky GUI methods. Refolding the Boomwap made easy.

It also now occurs to me that someone angry about page elements might also enjoy the one of the asteroids.js bookmarklets what are floating around.
Oh, here’s one:
javascript:var%20s%20=%20document.createElement(‘script’);s.type=’text/javascript’;document.body.appendChild(s);s.src=’http://erkie.github.com/asteroids.min.js’;void(0);
Goes in the URL field of a bookmark.
