    Good playing, fer sure, but that’s either a huge mando or she’s pretty small. More like an octave mando, judging by the tone.

    I was gonna say mandola, but I think you are right, octave mando.

    Yeah, the register clearly makes it an octave mando (what we’d call an octave or tenor mandola on this side of the pond). Naming conventions for larger mandos are a world of transatlantic confusion.
