At least narcissistic assholes can be smart!

I just had to deal with a class full of minging idiots that can’t even figure out how to divide a fucking micrometer into nanometers or figure out what a fucking nucleus is.

In my perfect world, anyone that cannot pass introductory biology at the college level or at least understand the metric system, evolution, and parts of the cell should be shot.

Hey BB. What a coincidence. I was just reminiscing about my early days around these parts, and was about to reread the infamous religion vs reality thread. You know the one where you got into a big thing with deadhead daisy and you were outed as some 1970s cult leader or something. As I remember you got so bent out of shape about it you finally closed down your blog. Ah the good old days.

Hey btw where were you when I was trying to enlighten CPP in reference to his class privilege? I thought that was your forte?

And, FTR, I make no secret that I was a member (a very junior member, not at all a leader) of the Kerista Commune for about a year in the 1980s. It was without a doubt a highly weird environment, but a rewarding and interesting year nonetheless. Daisy Deadhead claims she remembers me from that time, but I have no recollection of ever meeting her.

And I’ve closed my blog a few times for various reasons, but none of those reasons have anything whatsoever to do with you or Daisy Deadhead, except in the most general sense that sometimes the sheer weight of stupidity and assholiness of the world gets to me.

1. Apparently elsewhere: I can’t be everywhere. If you want me, sometimes you need to go find me, or find a way to muddle through without my perspicacious commentary.

2. Why should CPP need educating about class privilege?

It’s pathetic that you feel you constantly need to remind everyone that you are so much more intelligent than everyone around you. Blah blah blah yeah we get it already. However when you blame all the problems of the world on stupid people, and start obsessively (what is it 4 or 5 posts now?) talking IQ cutoffs and mass extermination it gets creepy.

And I am pretty sure I’m the only rational person around here at the moment!

Is this directed at me or Katharine? I myself have written nothing that even remotely resembles IQ cutoffs, but that’s never stopped you before.

In either case, neither she nor I seem to be talking about we’re more intelligent than everyone else. I certainly believe I’m much more intelligent than you personally (and Katherine might well believe something similar). In much the same sense it would be equally arrogant to assert I can run faster than Stephen Hawking.

And I am pretty sure I’m the only rational person around here at the moment!

Among your many faults, no one can justly allege a deficiency of unintentional irony.

Drugmonkey never said I was an idiot, or anything along those lines. He also made it clear recently that he disagrees with CPP that I am in any way crazy. We have a little history arguing over his disingenuous posts about cannabis legalization that’s all. In fact we recently starred in out own cartoon together. Maybe you’re just jealous?

Evidence? What is your evidence that I’m an idiot? I’d like to hear it.

What I said was that I don’t think that you are mentally incapacitated in a diagnosable way. This was by way of saying that if I did suspect there was something serious going on with you or another commenter, I wouldn’t be too keen on continued colloquial use of “loon” and such on my blog.

Here we are again with our Christian leaders raising their flags to support and justify inequality. Go read:

Of course, their gospel is that God did not create humans to be equal in dignity and rights. God created rich or poor, heterosexual or homosexual people and we are to accept God’s design for each of us.

Sheer CRAP. And a sheer philosophy to justify privilege for some and misery for the rest. I am a Christian and proud of it but do not recognize this kind of christianity.
