Query

Has anyone throughout the entire history of the English language who has earnestly used the phrases “actions have consequences” or “words have consequences” not been a totally full-of-shit cockwad blowhard?

I seem to recall my parents using those phrases a lot when I was a child. I don’t think my perspective on those matters is really objective with respect to “blowhard” v. “not blowhard”.

Parents and judges handing down sentences, those are about the only people who can use the phrase “actions have consequences” and not be a blowhard.
