Recipe War: First Dessert Course (Non-Chocolate)

This week Dr. Isis the Scientit and Comrade PhysioProf are battling it out with non-chocolate dessert recipes. Just a reminder that this battle is just for honor, as Dr. Isis the Scientit has already clinched victory in the recipe war!!! Comrade PhysioProf’s non-chocolate dessert is Bishop’s Bread Coffee Cake, made using a recipe handed down by PhysioWife’s maternal grandmother.

Ingredients:
Batter (Cake) 2 3/4 Cup Sifted all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup softened butter
1 Cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 Cup milk

Streusel Topping 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
1/2 Cup all purpose flour
1/4 Cup softened butter
1 Tablespoon cinnamon

Sift dry ingredients.

In large bowl beat butter, brown sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.

At low speed, blend in milk, then flour; beating just to combine. Pour
into pan.

In small bowl combine streusel topping ngredients and sprinkle over batter.

Bake 25 minutes at 375 degrees F. Serve warm.

When Dr. Isis gets her post up, we will open up the poll at recipewar.blogspot.com. EDIT: Dr. Isis’s recipe is here, and you can vote here.

I see no photographic evidence of man hands or Jameson to indicate that PhysioProf actually prepared this recipe. I suspect it was prepared by the probably quite capable PhysioWife.

And, really CE, who isn’t thinking about Dr. isis’s tits?

Is there some way you and Dr. Isis can create an index of these recipes so I don’t have to scroll through four fucking pages to find a recipe?
