Are You Fucking Kidding Me!?

I have had it up to here with Democrats falling for fake-ass “former Clinton supporters” talking about how Obama is a terrorist or some such batshit fucking wackaloonery, and concluding that the Democratic Party is “fracturing”, or some such bullshit. Hello, people!!!!!! This is textbook right-wing ratfuckery!!!! Try not to be such motherfucking rubes!

Also: Could we quit with the hyperbolic articles about how Muslims are resentful that Obama hasn’t visited a mosque yet? Like, please. Whether or not he visits a mosque during the campaign will probably NOT be the deciding factor in who a Muslim person votes for. That article seemed like a right-wing plant.

I believe there are many people in middle America who feel distrust for Obama simply based on his appearance. It’s just fear of change. But the number of people who feel that way is far exceeded by Republicans and middle right people who are so fed up that they can and will vote for Obama. IMO.

    mikeb…..”It’s just fear of change.”

Or fear of NO change? I’m still in the latter group, but solely because there’s no other viable option.
The hopefulness of early April fell to political expedience.

By November, the promise that was will be largely rhetorical. Compromised again and all but forgotten.

Of the 50% with an IQ over 100, perhaps 10-20% will take the time to intellectually and rationally examine the candidates and issues. The rest will make knee-jerk and emotional judgements, prodded by proponents of the Big Lie, who are confident that, having said something often enough and loud enough, it will be taken for truth.

I know a lifelong Democrat, nice Joosh lady who detests Dubya as much as any person living. She most emphatically won’t be voting for Obama. Reason? “Can’t trust those blacks!”
Believe in all the conspiracy theories you like, but the reality is there are plenty of racists, ignoramuses, and hypereducated ratfucking fools on the Democratic side of the ledger.
Deal with it, boy. Try not to swallow your tongue. ;-)

I’ve got them in my own family, folks who say they can’t bring themselves to vote for a black man. One sibling said to me “he scares me.” Nevertheless, I believe, and sincerely hope, there are many many more people who aren’t shackled by such ignorance and close-mindedness and who have had enough of the global disaster that the last eight years have wrought.
