Sick-Fuck Republican Assholes Go “Waah!”

Apparently some major-league sick-fuck right-wing scumbag Republican Party apparatchiks are not happy with the effect the Bush administration and its political mastermind, Karl Rove, has had on the Republican Party brand:

“Every Republican I know looks at the Bush administration as a total failure,” said Matt Towery, chairman of Newt Gingrich’s political organization.

“To do what he did politically to us is unforgivable,” Rep. Tom Tancredo told Alexander. “It will take generations to recover. I don’t know how long; maybe never.”

“I think the legacy is that Karl Rove will be a name that’ll be used for a long, long time as an example of how not to do it,” said long-time GOP strategist Ed Rollins.

Cite. (h/t First Draft, via Alternate Brain)

What a fucking load of hypocritical self-serving bullshit. (Not that we’d expect anything less from despicable sewer-dwelling moral degenerates like Towery, Tancredo, and Rollins.)

It’s not a surprise that a bunch of sick-fuck right-wing asshole degenerate Republican scumbags like these moral cretins have been saying that it’s Bush and Rove that have totally ruined the Republican Party, perhaps for decades. Of course, as amusing as this internal Republican ratfucking is to observe, it is a load of bullshit.

Bush and Rove were the apotheosis of the morally deranged pragmatically absurd despicable inhuman sick conservative philosophy and corollary animalistic gutter-dwelling political strategy that the Republican Party embraced 40 years ago. The decision to go that route contained the seeds of the Republican Party’s own destruction, and Bush just happened to be president when those seeds germinated. If it weren’t him, it would have been some other disgusting right-wing tool.

    “despicable sewer-dwelling moral degenerates.”

Those fucking sewer rats! I hardly doubt anyone that’s served under the current Bush admin will ever face any war crimes. They should, but I don’t think the Dems are concerned too much about that right now. They just wanna keep a good grip on congress and assure us that gas prices won’t spike too high. But that fat-fuck of a Karl Rove needs a good beatdown. But how about a spot on your roll for an RSS feed!

I adore the current notion among the Repubs that it’s the “brand” that has suffered. It’s not a branding problem, folks. John Kerry had a branding problem. You have a cowardice problem.

PProf, all I got is three years or more of Tanbark telling me the rats will leave the ship at the end.

They will tell their tales, and with the the RIGHT elected officials in place, some will swing from the rafters on short ropes.

And he’s right. By god, Tanbark FUCKING Johnson is right.

So ENUFF of this trivial bullshittary.

Scotty will testify. THE USAF has a new leadership, and the Christian F-15 Mafia has been turned to the screw. And Rove is gonna hang.

But before he does, he’ll rat out a LOT of shit about the top two guys.

And them Judiciary Committe’s folks, they is waiting in wait, like a hungry lioness looking for the weakest link in the chain of the herd.

N then, one MORE goes down.

N then, one MORE gives up.

N then, one MORE goes down.

We can hope, methinks, at this point.

I really, really, think. We CAN hope.

Cuz if you think about what these fucks DID to us, the Iraqi’s, and the planet, they are as ugly, mean and evil as Hitler, Attila, or Mugabi or any OTHER evil that’s ever walked the earth.

And THEIR guilt is further exacerbated by the fact that they thought it was all ok to do. Pure pride and predjudice. Pure hubris. Pure evil, mean and killing fields wrong, wrong, wrong.

Forget the domestic shit, what was done to the Iraqi’s was immoral.

Period. And it’s TIME we stopped being immoral in other people’s countries. Period.

Don’t mean to blog whore, but here’s MY attributioni:

Wonderful phraseology. If I can only remember it next time I hear some one tell me that the current regime is not bad and McCain should be president.

    Wah!

They all lined up to support Chimperor Dorquemada for over seven years and now they’re saying yhey don’t like him and that he’s a miserable fraking failure?

    Give me a fucking break!

    Screw them. All of them.

    PP,
Well said—I totally agree that if it hadn’t been Bush it would have been another right-wing tool.
And like Dr. J, BikeMonkey and EBMisfit said—they are still only worried about what damage has been done to their ‘brand’–still dont give a shit about the economic and moral devastation they have wrought on this country.

    There are some human Republicans.

That said, anyone who voted for the Shrub is responsible for him being in office, and IMO Karl Rove was not the architect of the disintegration of the integrity of what we in America know as the GOP.

Don’t tell me no one remembers/studied Lee Atwater.

I somehow found you from another blog and you descibe yourself as:

“PhysioProf is an NIH-funded basic science faculty member at a private medical school.”

Based on what I have read on this blog, they should retract all your funding immediately. You might argue “this is my personal blog.” Too bad you hide behind anonymity.

To which I would reply: you “apparently” are part of the academy-don’t you think you should hold your “personal” (it’s on the internet so it is not really personal) life to a higher standard. You know, to set an example and all that? You know, as an esteemed member of the academy…as an example for the uneducated masses to follow?

    Guess not.

    bm

    why should PP lose funding?

  12. 12
    Coturnix

NIH spent its money well by funding PP who then used the funds to diagnose, quite correctly, all the GOP-ers, conservatives and ReligiousRighters as fucking wackaloons. Money well spent, methinks. I hope PP is now working on the second step – the treatment for endemic wackaloonery.

  13. 13
    bm

is that anything like endoscopic wackaloonery, c-dog?

Congratulations, PP. When they seek you out to attack you, you know you’ve hit a nerve.

And this troll can actually spell, however askew its *ahem* logic might be (I’d looove to see its arguments re: privacy, the internet, IP, bandwith payments, the military – hours of fun for the entire family). My guess is the spewage volume will do little but escalate.

I guess it’s timely – I need to create a new pattern for a micromesh-fiber vest insert anyway (the old one is tres demode), and I’m sure I’m not the only needleworker who’d enjoy the practice.

  15. 15
    Dr. Jekyll & Mrs. Hyde

Someone labeled “anon” dissing you with Too bad you hide behind anonymity is too highbrow meta for my poor weakened liberal brain to take.

  16. 16
    bikemonkey

No, no, Dr. J. it wasn’t “anon” it was actually “P.”. see the difference?

  17. 17
    P. (formerly anon)

I guess “Dr. J” is your real name, or “bikemonkey” yours?

To quote “littlem” (I guess that is your real name too-right?)

“(I’d looove to see its arguments re: privacy, the internet, IP, bandwith payments, the military – hours of fun for the entire family).”

Short answer on privacy/internet: if it is online-it is not private. Thus, to pretend that this is some personal expression conduit (like say, the diary you might keep) is a fallacy. And thus to justify the idea stated in the byline of the blog (paraphrasing) “that this blog is separate from the constraints of academic life” is also wishful thinking. This is much a do about nothing, read on though…

Anyway, it is a little defensive to interpret my “trolling” message as an attack and not an observation. I was quite impressed by PP’s commentary on another blog and thought to myself, “I would like to read more about the ideas presented by this person. They sound pretty intelligent and I am interested.”

So I, like anyone would-followed links until I got to this “private” blog. I could care less about the political ideology on the blog-what I was confronted with was the childish language and childish arguments made by a blogger who presented themselves on a different blog as rather credible.

Here is my concern-and it is not for me personally (I can handle the shock). I got here through a science blog. Science and the people who disseminate it (like I assume PP is) are so important to a sane society-that I was dissapointed to see this. Why? Because if I was an interested younger person trying to get information about science life and this is where I eventaully came to-well, then you can see the conclusions I might reach about scientists.

All this is in the context of my arguments about the “academy” and under the assumption that:

“PhysioProf is an NIH-funded basic science faculty member at a private medical school.”

I would have none of these problems if PP was a privately funded basic science faculty member at a private medical school.

Anyway…just something to think about-not an attack.
    P.

Hey P, PhysioP has a job funded by the NIH.

On his off time, he has a personal life, opinions, and a blog.

WTF don’t you get about that?

Crawl back into your testtube, hoss, where you must be owned entirely by YOUR masters.

    Yer botherin me, son.

  19. 19
    bikemonkey

    ok, ok, calm down larue,

our friend P. has a legitimate point. actually, many scientist bloggers indeed consider these issues quite closely. It boils down to a personal decision made with respect to one’s own values and intents with their various blogging projects.

Academia is an interesting beast. It allows for considerable…breadth, shall we say, of expression both professionally and personally. It is part of the deal. Sometimes people are made uncomfortable. Sometimes this is an intentional part of the educational experience, sometimes an accidental benefit and sometimes, well, just some crazy fucking wackaloon professor is spouting off.

All I can suggest for P. is that s/he maybe spend some time with PP’s political blogging. It is possible that you may find more than childish ranting here. many of us do.

    littlem

Whatever, P.-dudeliness. You keep right on there with your simplistic binaries. They look so fun!

    *rolleyes*

I’m not going to argue with you on Physio’s blog; I have a few hundred thousand more pressing things to do with my time.

In the meantime, you might take bikemonkey’s advice – if you can pry (and then prop) your mind open wide enough that it doesn’t immediately snap back and shut on your hand.

    bustedsbro

sounds like P needs to get laid. Why is it when someone has passion and expresses him or herself with that passion that people can’t see it. All they see is what there blinders allow them too. To P, know that regardless of personal status, people who have the ability for empathy for others and feel strongly about it come to there places to state how they feel. GET IT!!! Trying to figure out the why is unimportant. So my advise to you is to go load up on a 4 hr boner, have a grand time then comeback and you’ll have a new perspective I guarantee. You’ll be able to see colors for the first time. Good on ya PP

    P.

Interesting take on it-bikemonkey, and a legitmate point. I have been thing about the scientist-blogger dilemma and I can see how having an outlet for expression is important considering all the stupid politics that go on here (that is a whole other discussion).I read an earlier post by PP about anonymous blogging and agreeed that it is important, but disagree that people who don’t like it are CV building idiots. Maybe some are, but legit down to earth scientists my be uncomfortable with it (again, another discussion at another time.

I will keep reading, but it is nice to have a sane discussion about it.

I am still concerned about the “scientist role-model” thing, but that does not entirely apply only to PP. We can’t expect people to be robots off the job, I was not implying that in my earlier post…but it is an important thing consider that I got to PP from a mainstream blog where he (or she) did some nice writing about mainstream science life…maybe that is the real issue?

Allow me to defend myself for a second…

As for littlem who says: “…simplistic binaries.” First, you might be able to write clever phrases-but they hold no weight because my argument is not an either-or argument.

Anyway, the easiest way to avoid showing you have a legit point is to jump into ad hominems using clever phrasiology that makes it sound like you are witty and intelligent. And the classic I-have-no-point tactic is to say “I am too busy to argue with you…” blah, blah… I am as busy as you are…so don’t come at me with that weak argument and the *rolleyes* crap. You had enough time to write that, didnya?

Finally, closemindedness is really only adhering to one mantra that someone posts to a blog like a fanboy. Then, when someone comes along and questions your leader-launching into sarcastic ad hominems.

Openmindedness is coming on a blog that you might have disagreements with, posting those, and trying to have a discussion about them and defending positions until you and the people reading your comments both walk away with a new (or not) understanding.

bustedbro: lol, but a 4 hour boner would put me in the hospital (probably you too) so I think I will keep it down to 30 mins-1 hour. and i usually see colors before i have sex (unless I am drunk) so i am not sure how sex changes anything.

but seriously, you said, “To P, know that regardless of personal status, people who have the ability for empathy for others and feel strongly about it come to there [I think you meant "these"] places to state how they feel. GET IT!!!”

Yeah, that is why I came on here to state my opinion about the opinions stated. So I guess I am doing exactly what PP does, right?

Thanks for recognizing my rant P. Point being as I see it, blogs are like homes with open doors. You better check out the whole house before you comment on how it’s paid for. You got here by a science blog and PP comment on said blog. Good. Means your a curious person and like to check things out. You have some valid points. With that said if you mix shit with ice cream it’s still shitty ice cream. I read PP because I share some of his views and he’s very funny. God know humors a good thing with all the shit we deal with on a daily basis. After reading all of your posts here. Go back to your first post and see if you could understand how it could be misunderstood or not. Doesn’t matter really. These are just thoughts of thoughtful people. I agree or disagree as I see fit and do so respectfully as possible. As far sex comment goes. Well while it might not change circumstances of anything but you have to try and try again. Might just come out of a frown with a smile.

One thing that is a bit difficult is the temporal flow. That discussion was part of a specific debate with other bloggers, IIRC. But I will say that your off-hand comment, whether serious or not, is a pretty good argument for anonymity. All it would take is for one Congress member to have the same reaction and we’d be fighting that stupid defund-individual-grants-by-amendment thing again. Nobody can be truly anonymous against a determined searcher but one can avoid trivial search engine linking if this is one’s worry.

I will keep reading, but it is nice to have a sane discussion about it.

even bloggy ranting wackaloons can get serious at times..:-)

I am still concerned about the “scientist role-model” thing, but that does not entirely apply only to PP. whoa. there’s such a thing as a “mainstream blog”? kewl. I’m assuming you are talking about those stuffed-shirts at the Borg, LOLZ.

It comes down in some senses to a practical matter of trivial linking and searching on the Intertuubz, true. But in, say, a smaller college town what would be the difference. Some prof is spotted out drinking every night, or slipping into the local strip club, knocking on doors for religious or political proselytizing or hunting or heck, attending the local stock car race, or any other legal thing that someone, somewhere, might not approve of.
