PhysioProf is not real up on the controversy surrounding the movie Expelled, but apparently it is some absurd piece of right-wing Jeebus-freak dreck about how the theory of evolution SUXX0RS!!!11! and how horrible “evolutionists” are suppressing the BEST SCHOLARS EVAH!!!!11!11 from the “Intelligent Design” community (which as far as I can tell is just a Potemkin village from which right-wing theocratic beserkers can peddle their ridiculous Jeebus tales to credulous drooling moron right-wing authoritarian followers).
Anyhoo, the name of the movie, Expelled, is supposed to be a reference to how these totally fucking awesome Jeebus-freak “scholars” have been “expelled” from the regular scientific community by nasty “evolutionists”, despite their brilliant insights into some goofy wacked-out Jeebus-freak crapola, and that it is TOTALLY UNFAIR that they have been expelled because their loonie-tune nonsense does not suit “evolutionist” dogma and is unpopular. So the basic idea is that it is TERRIBLE and HORRIBLE and EVIL for people with unpopular views to be expelled from any particular realm of intellectual discourse.
Well, massive overwhelmingly enormous gigunda swinging-dick atheist “evolutionist” blogger PZ Myers went to see Expelled, and guess what happened. The ridiculous demented right-wing wackaloon theocratic douchemonkeys expelled Myers from the movie! And not only did they expel him, they got the fucking cops to do it for them. (If PhysioProf weren’t such a judicious fair-minded commentator who eschews extreme characterizations, he might have even considered this to smell just a little bit, shall we say, of FASCISM.)
And guess who was with Myers, but who the absurd fuckwit theocratic loonies neglected to also expel? Richard Fucking Dawkins, an even bigger massive overwhelmingly enormous gigunda swinging-dick atheist “evolutionist” than Myers. These gobsmackingly stupid right-wing wackaloon pathetic douchemonkey theocrats can’t even get their fucking FASCISM right.

Great headline, but it’s not about right-wingers.
It’s about raving lunatics whose paranoia is much greater than their willingness to reason.
I know plenty of hot and heavy believers in astrology who are left-wing; they’re just as stupid.

I suspect Expelled is supposed to be a reference to the garden of eden, where the intelligent designer designed the intelligent design and gave them all the good real estate, only to take it all away when they insisted on doing experiments.
