Cherry trees are blooming all around San Francisco. It’s been a wet years, so the trees are ready to get it on. So is everything else. Our wisteria is already going strong. Acacias are bursting with blossoms. Of course, if you suffer from allergies to airborne pollens, you might wait until later in the year to come visit.

The boxleaf azara’s are blooming, too. The intense smell of chocolate waffle cones appears and disappears on a light breeze.

First saw this this (i.e., MY) morning. The lights were still on. An early-bird photographer setting up his equipment.

Enjoyed figuring out we’re looking more-ore-less North here. (A poplar just out of sight to the left?)

Too late. Blegh. Trees shouldn’t be allowed to have sex in public. They’re almost as inconsiderate as the grasses.
