The Abolitionist Society of Fort Worth is one of those organizations that encourages the vicious goons who stand outside of Planned Parenthood, screaming and waving placards of photos of bloody embryos at women trying to get medical care. They are going to be distributing a pamphlet that is the graphical equivalent of their incoherent shouting, and here is one of the informative illustrations from it.
You’ll probably have to click to get a larger size, and even then it’s going to be a difficult read: who thought that a wall of small all-caps sans serif text would be readable? Probably the same people who thought their hate tactics were rational.

The anti-choice movement’s main argument is that abortion is grody to the max. It’s a wonder they’re not trying to stop people from going number two.

Anyway, there’s really only one thing that caught my eye in that mess – other than the snake – and that’s “IMPLEMENTS OF CHILD SACRIFICE”. I had no idea you could get ceremonial daggers from the local chemist. I simply must check out the aisles with feminine products. Maybe I can also find a nice (child-sized) altar, one with those nifty grooves for the, ah, run-off.
What… no pentagram? (Except in the scratches at the top.) No turning the female organs into a demonic goat head? There’s a serpent, but no apple? And where is Adam being nailed to a cross? NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE!!
I don’t know about anyone else, but I never dedicated any contraceptive use to any particular god or gods. After all, if you’re gonna sacrifice, it should be with intent of some kind.
About those odd little illustrations in the corners…is the upper left a caduceus? I ruled out an IUD, ’cause you don’t pick up one of those at the pharmacy. And the lower right, um, ouroboros, diaphragm, or condom?

I think I’ve seen that group before over there. That illustration is just the tip of the iceberg. Awful awful people, IMO.
I don’t think that’s going to win them any friends…
But…even if OCP and plan B do sometimes destroy embryos (which they don’t), they do so long before the embryo develops far enough to grow blood, so there’s no “innocent bloodshed” involved.
They used an illustration of an 8-cell embryo rather than a miniature baby. Weird.

The mildly deranged penguin thinks that central snake / ovary thing looks like a rather cool set of motorcycle handlebars as seen by the rider. That wall’o’text is just the usual legal disclaimers, such as May Contain Nuts. Or actually, in this case, This Is Nuts.
In context, that’s taking cryptorchidism to a whole new level.
Well, that’s some bizarre symbolism. Do these people know what ouroboros actually symbolizes? Eternal rebirth or the eternal cycle seems really weird tacked onto the rest of their message. Its as weird to me as when I see someone claim the unfinished pyramid with the all-seeing eye on the back of the seal means those evil freemasons own our government lock, stock and barrel. Yeaaah, no that actually a pretty brazen declaration of American exceptionalism. Maybe a controversial, (but not a surprising), move from a country that just violently rejected divine right of kings before they designed that. Kind of an important picture when you realize 70%+ of the country couldn’t read at the time.
Not sure what the deal is with that inverted caduceus, either. If they’re shooting for a message of abortion as against the Hippocratic Oath, (which pharmacists aren’t required to take), why are they using the symbol for “commerce and a fat purse”? Wouldn’t the rod of Asclepius inverted make much more sense? Why is it upside down? Like they’re claiming birth control is bad for business. Wouldn’t the fact that this group is against even using birth control kind of negate that message to a pharmacist? I mean, they’re not exactly going to come in and buy it.
On the other hand, I’m still waiting for “Rush Revere” to try and save Ben Franklin from going into that building with the bees circling a barrel on the sign, because it ‘clearly is a house of satanic torture and worship involving sacrifices to insects’. It seems like it would be entertaining to see Franklin coldcock Rush and step over him into ‘the public house’ for his cup of mead. Sadly, this is the group that claims everyone else is symbol illiterate and are missing the messages of sex and satan in all of our media.
The rest of it is just hard to read, uses uncomplimentary colors, strange font, background and text box choices… Maybe it’s made by an ex-Death Metal singer who has found the light?

I’m surprised they’d show a vaguely realistic female reproductive system like that. What if some kid sees it? After all those are the kind of people who think the best kind of sex education is the kind that teaches kids nothing about their bodies.

Except for one, the outlier, which is either for a holiday on Venus or Venus cheese husbands (the quality of the ad is exceptionally cheesy, I think it’s advertising celery cocktails at the some dive in Wien).
“Women turning their bodies against their own children” makes no sense unless they are trying to describe a miscarriage. So they really should be angry at “god” for causing miscarriages. These people has some idea about biology, but are really quite clueless
I’m just imagining the artist finishing the final linework on the eye of the fallopian snake, and just being like, “NAILED it!” A moment of supreme satisfaction making up for how uncomfortable it got when he had to render the bottom of that reproductive system (which is mostly covered with text).
You’re overthinking it. All abortions are horrible grisly murder of cherubic infants to these people.

For a microsecond when I saw the caption “ARE YOU HELPING WOMEN TURN THEIR BODIES AGAINST THEIR OWN CHILDREN” I thought it might be the CDC promoting their advice sexually active women shouldn’t drink alcohol unless they are on birth control. Frankly comparing these two groups… well, the comparison is not good.
