I am confuse… are you saying you don’t always and exclusively listen to music sung, performed, and composed by goats? How strange you Americans are.

I’m no expert on goat vocalisations, but quite a few of those sound suspiciously like panic or possibly death.* Anyway, there you go, christmas holiday cheer for everyone.

Are you sure that wasn’t this years’ republican slate? Some of them sounded right “on message” and I’m pretty sure I recognized Rand Paul’s voice.

    Oh, thanks.

You’ve gone and made me really maaaaaaaaad.

But no, I don’t want to butt heads about this.

My dog nearly tore my keyboard off trying to attack the speaker. I always knew he was smart. This proves it for me.

As with a lot of modern singers there is too much autotune been employed in this track.
Can’t they just find goats that can really hold a tune rather than mediocre ones that get fixed in post production.

Jeff Bezos has offered to launch teh trum-prat into space on his Blue Origin rocket. I suggest that instead of a communications link, the capsule — which would almost certainly be on a one-way trip — has a sound system which constantly plays these goatsongs. Constantly.

SHH! DO NOT DRAW ITS ATTENTION!

It is ok, oh Octopus of Doom – we do not see you. We do not know of you. We are unaware, lambs to the slaughter. We will offer no resistance when the time comes.

Ok, phew, I think that appeased the rising ire of OctoDoom. Now, everybody, look unconcerned!

It should be noted that the album (yes, there is a whole album of this) was produced by and for ActionAid Sweden. ActionAid is an international aid and human rights organization. As best as I can tell from their website (http://www.actionaid.se/) the money raised by the album will be used to buy goats for poor families in developing countries. Definitely a humorous way to raise money to help those in need.

@Pieter Droogendijk #3 – It’s not just Christmas: there is also the wonderful musical set in Arkham, A Shoggoth on the Roof, with amazing songs such as Tentacles!, If I Were a Deep One, The Nightmare, and Dr. Herbert West singing that age-old classic, To Life!

Once again I am really glad to be living in Taiwan. The Taiwanese are more concerned about Constitution Day on the 25th than christmas. The only christmas songs I’ve heard are the ones we’re told to teach the kids. (Bonus: It’s 11°C as I write, the coldest I’ve felt in six years.)

Here are the only christmas songs I’ve ever been able to enjoy. The first isn’t a christmas song, it’s part tribute, part obituary to James Honeyman Scott. The second is a Canadian classic from 1975, the A side and B side.

I had to stop halfway thru Silent Night. I’ve got cramp-stitch from laughing so hard.
