As I said on FB, I would watch the *hell* out of this movie… But… $5.50? When’s the last time you went to a movie? Or is it just generally cheaper where you are (prevailing prices here in Portland, OR are about double that for a regular feature – around $14 for 3D, although if you are willing to wait for the 2nd run theaters (where you can get regular food and beer at restaurant prices instead of theater prices), the movie ends up being about $4-6.

Morris ticket prices. We live in a different world out here, one that hasn’t changed since the 1950s.

    Or at least the 70s.

Hmm, well it froze my computer and lost me half-an-hour’s work, so I don’t think I’ll be contributing.

felicis – in some places, there are also senior citizens tickets, usually kicking in at the age of 55 (sometimes 60) which can lower ticket price a bit. We have $7 movies here, but my husband gets in for $5.50 because he is over 60.

It was big in the early 70s.

And yes, I would totally go to an updated Bambi movie. Or, now that I looked up movie prices ($11 – 15), I might wait for the DVD to hit my local library. Free sounds so much better, did I mention I’m cheap?
