    Oh cripes, chigau! That story is epic!

    As for the wolf spider, I actually got to witness a mother with her little eggs on the dorsal part of her abdomen, once, long ago. I was suppressing a gag reflex as my primitive brain was like “parasites attached to body! horrible growths!” So of course that made me go grab my camera so I could share it with all my family and friends! The flash on the camera goes off then tens of glowing eyes light up, all seemingly staring and posing for me.

    Sadly, I don’t know what became of those pictures. I suppose they’re on a busted hard drive that I’m too lazy to try to recover. But I still have the story and the memory, for now at least.

    Put some long, brightly colored hair on it and it could be one of those troll dolls some of us (of a certain age) had as kids!
