Numbers?

I have been informed by The Digital Cuttlefish that cumulative traffic to this site at freethoughtblogs has reached 50 million visits. I’m not sure what the total capacity is, so don’t be surprised if I have to suddenly stop because the blog is full up.

That’s how it works, right?

John Davison would recommend that you abandon this blog and start a new one. With one post, and just keep adding new stuff in the comments.
    I love it so!

Not sure how the blog works, but at 55 and still in a technical role as a telecom engineer (used to design microwave devices, now learning java and webservices), every time I learn something new, something I used to know falls out on the floor.

All good and well with that Digital Cuttlefish, but NO picture?
I want my weekly cephalopod picture!!!

I apologize; I refreshed too late. It’s already there. I’m away here now. Thanks beautiful FTB.

One thing I have noticed for the past several months is that the site doesn’t fully load all the time anymore (independent of my location or device being used). I sent the information to what appeared to be the most technical contact listed.

It does appear that as FtB becomes increasingly popular, the servers are not handling the load gracefully.

But, but FTB is full of Angry Atheists and only a small horde of sycophants read and post here, so how is this possible?

Obviously they are counting the refreshes people do to translate the sarcasm and various other enigmatics, sophistries ,erudite ,obslolete figures of speech. Hard going, sometimes like to relax back into ordinary conversation. Not complaining, just tone monitoring…if some people would just…..be like I prefer…

Ah! So that’s what’s been happening to me. I’m 62 and trying to learn C++ under pressure from a young whippersnapper for not picking it all up in two months. I’ve been wondering where all the stuff I used to know had gone.

That’s c.50m electrons, which do rather collide (hit) with the site when you huff and puff into the USB port…
