Around FtB

I’ve got another busy morning in the lab followed by some travelin’ to the Big City, so I’ll help you find some other stuff to read.

I’m traveling to a Big City today, too! …but something tells me mine’s bigger. :P

Has Zealot been discussed here recently?

It sounds interesting, but I’m curious what evidence Aslan can muster.

It always seems to me that the Historical Jesuses always come out looking like what the author wants them too – troubling indication of an overfitted theory as I see it.

To some degree this happens with ‘Mythicists’ as well, I guess.

BTW Jen’s mom had breast cancer previously, but right now she’s being treated for ovarian cancer. http://freethoughtblogs.com/blaghag/2013/07/sometimes-life-gets-hard/ <3

(Ovarian cancer is considerably less treatable than breast cancer, largely due to the fact that it is usually – 91% – diagnosed at stages 3 or 4. http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/255771-overview)
