    Hmm.. the linked site (some more spectacular shots there – cheers PZ) doesn’t actually identify this one it is just captioned :

    “black roots on red leaves.”

    Nor does clicking the photo give me an species name for this either – just the image without anything when I tried it

    So what is it?

    I’m guessing Morton Bay fig or related species?

    I captured the image, it is a Morton Bay Fig tree, I climbed up into the tree to get that perspective.. you could have left my signature on the bottom of it :)
