    I agree. To have developed intelligence to such a degree and have no time in which to do anything with it? So sad.

    I wonder what would happen if we genetically engineered some of them to have lives as long as ours…

    My mother has been gone these last 8 years. I miss her. I have no mollusc nearby so I’ll settle for hugging her memory, as there is regrettably no afterlife for her to be happy in.

    Go hug your mom right now, or if she’s not nearby, hug a mollusc instead.

    The nearest molluscs to me right now are snails and I rather doubt they’d appreciate that!

    Good thought though I guess.
