    How inviting does the turquoise water behind our octopedal friend look?

    In my mind it’s saying “wooooooooooo!” quietly to itself as it drifts down.

    A generally great gathering of how the octopus was portrayed through the millennia, especially the Victor Hugo lines. However, it was deficient for not quoting the surrealist Comte de Lautréamont.
