It’s a shame that I can only feature an occasional panel from my favorite webcomic of them all, Oglaf, because it tends to get raunchy, explicit, NSFW, rude, cartoonishly pornographic, and silly, but who cares? I thought I’d mention the message in this one, at least. Only tune in if you like your humor lowbrow and occasionally obscene.
Also, if you’d ever read the comic, you’d know that the last thing that anyone would do is go home and lead calm, rational lives.
P.S. The author is Trudy Cooper. She’s Australian, which explains a lot.

Finally, I adore the no-fun-having fierce, violent, smart anti-hero. I’d love to meet her in real life — and see if I could avoid being punched out.
It’s also rather nice to have a major character who’s pretty explicitly lesbian and whose orientation is just a background detail, instead of her defining trait.
Especially in a sexually themed webcomic, where it tends to swing between lezploitation or “every woman is bi” extremes.
Incidentally this storyline is funny and relevant to recent events. NSFW obviously.
Mind you all the storylines are hilarious. I LOVE Oglaf…did I mention that already?

Yeah, Oglaf only comes out once a week, so the archives aren’t overwhelming, yet. But Cooper is extremely professional and reliable: you can count on a new one by every Sunday evening.

How much of the work is Trudy’s and how much is Doug’s? I know that both are the authors, but that Trudy is credited as illustrator. That probably means all the art is hers, but I don’t know how much they collaborate on or divide up the writing work. Anyway, it’s one of my favorites (Girls With Slingshots is up there too).

Something also VERY worth checking out is Trudy’s previous (and hopefully future) comic Platinum Grit (http://www.platinumgrit.com/).
Mostly safe for work (mostly, anyway). You can definitely see the same vein of eyes-sideways humour running through it, though. It changes tone markedly from the first five or six issues (for the better), so stay with it.

After reading the whole series, I gotta say, this post should carry a trigger warning as well as a NSFW warning.
There is a LOT of rape in the comic, usually played for “fun”. The apprentice gets raped (by the elf guy), a diplomat is forced to give someone fellatio, several barbarian guys get raped, etc.
Some of the (non-rape) jokes were kind of funny, but the non-consensual sex, combined with the horrific violence played for laughs, really left an unpleasant impression.
Also, giving thumbs up to a comic that uses rape as a joke, while arguing against people who do that very thing, is not a good thing. Fortunately, none of the MRAs seem to have noticed this post.
