This… this. A thousand times this. Hilarious. Badger decided to watch Thunderf00t’s attempt at strawmanning the entire harassment policy campaign and react in realtime for our viewing pleasure. You know, the video he made for his now-infamous “MISOGYNIST!!!!” post. This is clearly someone who knows the humour value of whargarbl, to put his own whargarbl on display for others’ consumption.
Badger blogs at Stealth Badger, which appears to have been bullied RIGHT OFF THE INTERNET. By the #FTBullies, no doubt.
Frankly, I’d be surprised if I was half as eloquent mere seconds after watching T-Footy stick his namesake in his mouth.

Okay, and I thought the #FTBullies tag was funny, this just about knocked me out of my chair. It’s a good job my roommate was in the garden, she would have thought I’d lost it.

That sure was some entertaining whargarbl (I seriously LOVE that word).
I haven’t watched Tfoot’s video yet myself, his blog posts were bad enough and I didn’t want to have to suffer through yet another batch of his idiocy. But something tells me my reaction would probably be about the same.

Feminism is not Freethought. It is a wrench in the works of the recent “gathering of the tribes” of various secular, atheist and skeptic groups which until now had not been able to agree on some issues. There have been accusations by radical feminists within the movement against freethought groups as “promoting rape”, simply for announcing events of evo psy scholars.

F. Bacon, I believe you meant “evo” “psy” “scholars”

@11: I have no interest in ‘gathering tribes’ with misogynists or any other proponents of class-based privilege or hierarchy. If feminism or anti-racism or whatever is throwing a spanner in the works by refusing to associate with or support dedicated assholes of various stripes, I count that as a good thing. There is no purpose to some sort of Atheist Revolution that simply re-entrenches extant power hierarchies with the exception of putting wealthy White men with doctorates in physics instead of wealthy White men with religious credentials at the top of the social pyramid. I have no more interest in an irrational, uncritical, atheist culture than an irrational, uncritical, religious culture. So, yeah, I think you’re right (except that feminism is very much freethought), but it’s a feature, not a bug.
(Also, if those Evo Psych scholars were promoting rape apologism under the guise of evolutionary psychology – usually by forgetting that, despite evolving some anti-social tendencies, we also have evolved the capacity to moderate our behavior in pro-social ways because humans can’t survive without social groups – then it’s accurate to say that promoting their talks promotes rape.)
