An exercise in compare/contrast. First, Canadian Michael Bublé singing his original song, Haven’t Met You Yet.
Sorry, fellow Canuck. I’m not feeling this. I’m not really a big pop person. It’s a good song in its way, I guess, but just not my cup of tea.
So what can be done to bump it up the awesome scale?
Well, this, for starters. Behold Russian Unicorn, by Bad Lip Reading.
That’s more like it. Aww yeah them strawberries look juicy.
…What? You’re still looking for ways to make it even more epic? Okay, fine. If you’re a gamer geek, this one will blow you away.

I can appreciate that you’re not that into him, but he was a pretty damn good showman when he was here in Edmonton last year.

I think there was just a server hiccup at around that time. Hmm.

I think the server software loves Buble so much it put your comment twice, etcetera.
I’m so seeing if I can redo Metallica’s “One” with Mario music. Do you think One Winged Angel done that way would be Geek Epic, or is that just too weird?

Hmm. Maybe. Metallica’s One won’t work for that, I don’t think, but *something* could be done with it. I fully support doing One in Mario Paint Composer though. Get on it.

NEVER MIND.
Guess you’re going to have to do something with One Winged Angel then.

… the original poem can be sung to the tune of “Good King Wenceslas” instead of Carl Orff’ music — and naturally, the inverse also, singing the words of the carol to the music from Carmina Burana…
I think there’s a YouTube of something called “Oh, four tuna!” that might be tangentially relevant as well…

Yeah, I should’ve guessed “One” would have been popular enough to warrant somebody already crafting in Mario Paint. I noticed there’s only a couple of Mario Painted Slayer songs though. Maybe I should do “Disciple”? There’s something immensely satisfying about the thought of screaming out “God hates us all!” to Mario sound effects… Plus, the song’s a little shorter than One Winged Angel.

I can’t find a version of Disciple, but there’s this. :D
Also, Philip, that is awesome. Posting it shortly.

I don’t care what your musical tastes are, that’s comedy gold right there.
Actually, Jason, I’m not a big pop guy either, so my opinion may be biased, but I think the real problem here is that “Haven’t Met You Yet” is just a crappy song.
