What group do I belong to, that is the least tolerated in America?

   It’s amazing how reviled we are by so many people. I think the tide may be turning, though. This comes from the blog of an acquaintance of mine in the town where I live. She’s Christian, and is rather liberal, and very accepting of my own lack of faith.

   Why is that non-Christian more compassionate than a whole slew of Christians I’ve encountered? What does it mean to identify with a label that evil people somehow twist to justify heinous acts?

   The moderate Christians that I encounter seem to realize more and more of the vileness of others calling themselves Christian, and they’re not happy about it. Our acceptance is growing, but we still have a very long way to go.
