We have put a hell of a lot of work into this cage. For rank amateurs, as we definitely are, I think it turned out pretty damn amazing.
You can even see Stilgar in the bottom righthand corner of the bottom pic. He’s in the little quarter-of-a-vase looking thing.

Looks very, very nice, congratulations. I’m sure he’ll be very happy in his new home. I can’t tell from your picture, but hopefully you have some way of venting excess heat out of the top of the cage where I assume the lights are, or are using under-tank heating, which would probably be more efficient. You wouldn’t want all that nice wood to catch on fire now, would you?

Nope, it won’t burst into flames. It’s a radiant heat panel on top, inside is totally plexiglass, and the vents on both sides (halfway down to avoid the chimney effect). A lot of thought went into its design too.

Good deal, like I said, I can’t see inside, but if you put a nice hot load of light bulbs up top for heat against untreated wood and left it on for 12-14 hours a day, you’d be just asking for trouble.
But of course, I should have known you’d be smarter than that. Good show.

Looks good, I was wondering if the little plastic things are going to be eventually replaced with some rock work or plants or something though? I think it looks fantastic though. Teri and I are considering turning my 29 gallon aquarium into a terrarium for tree frogs and lizards(which we can catch in Florida) But like I said, it looks fantastic.
