    Heh heh. But is there really that much Papist influence influenza in Texas? I didn’t think the Protestants were down with Popery so much since the days when Texas was Mexico.

    Growing up in the sixties I was aware of a lot of anti-Catholic sentiment. The Catholics gave as good as they got by being very bigotted against anyone who was not Catholic. Seeing Catholics and Protestants in bed together is always surprising to me. But I guess atheists and secularists are the commom enemy, so they band together.
