I have, at long last, finished editing photos, and can now reveal to you that I escaped ye olde day job (and unconsciousness) for a day in order to show B around Mount St. Helens. It was a phenomenal day for photos. I’ve many-lots! I’ve put a few up at Rosetta Stones: go enjoy!
And here’s a bonus one for ye: Looking in to the maw of the volcano over the shoulder of a ridge from Coldwater Lake.
I’d stay to chat, but the cat’s already disgusted I’ve got the laptop on my lap instead of her, and 20 year-old kitties get kitty cuddles on demand. See ye soon!
Holy snikey, you got really lucky to have such a clear day. It’s usually hazy as all get-out up there.
Great photos! I only got to spend a day at MSH. These pictures remind me that I really need to get back to the Pacific Northwest for some more leisurely travel.
Great indeed. My wife and I live so close that it’s practically a crime we don’t go a couple of times a year. And throw in a visit to my cousin in Portland while we’re at it.
Good stuff! Love the views.
Suh-weeeet!
Lovely! And might I add, since I haven’t on previous posts, that I’m extremely happy to hear that things are improving despite sleepiness.
