Also, in relation to your previous post (cobra lilies): I love the fact that they like to grow on serpentinite. That whole snake theme… ;)

If you like lighthouses (and who doesn’t) you need to visit my beloved home state of Michigan. We have more lighthouses than any other state, The Upper Peninsula is positively littered with them, as is the northern Lower Peninsula.

I am excited to hear about serpentinite. I spent my early childhood living on Eight Dollar Mountain and it is such a special place. So. Many. Rocks.
Yes! Been wanting to do that for years. We did visit about 15 years ago but my interest hadn’t gelled yet.
