Enough Cute to Make a Spartan Cry

No, I’m not going to show you what “this” is. I’m going to make you go look. It’s got to do with cats, ducklings, a shark, and a Roomba. You’re totally going to go look now, right? Swallow what you’re drinking first.

Right? That was hysterically cute. I shall now make it worse by bombarding you with more cute courtesy of the Daily Squee, I Can Has Cheezburger, and my own sick twisted sense of humor..

That Roomba gif has been cheering me up all week. The rest make some neat icing on the cake – thanks!

Don’t be silly. Spartans don’t cry. They leak molten lava from modified diamond-coated tear ducts.
Or something. I had a point here, but it got lost in all the cute.

    EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Speaking of cute and cats, our two cats have been best mates for the last 5 years. Then suddenly last week the young female (Tansy) started to try and shred the 15yo male (Oscar) as if he was totally alien. They had to sleep in separate rooms for a couple of days and watched like a hawk while out and about. I remembered reading about sick cats being attacked by their fellow cats so off to the vet they went for a checkup. It turned out that Oscar had three rotten teeth and Tansy was smelling his breath and attacking a foreign smelling cat: Anyway, antibiotics and a fangendectomy (and $400) later, they’re sleeping together again, Tansy on top. It’s much nicer when they’re best friends!

My wife has been wanting a Roomba. I’ve been saying it would frighten the cats. Now I’m probably stuck.

The musical soundtrack version is a later cut-down modification, Trebuchet? I believe the original comes from YouTube user texasgirly1979 who has *lots* of similar Roomba cat videos.

Hammerhead dog! Wonderful. I wonderful if the duck is imprinted on the cat and is following “Momma” around? That would appear to be the case with the dog with all the ducklings.

Of course, now I’m going waste the rest of the morning watching more Roomba Cat videos. Then off to the living room to watch some Dr. Who with the On-Demand. At some point I’m going to have to admit I’m no longer quite the invalid I was and start actually doing something.

Somebody needs to tell those cats that it’s bad manners to play with their food.
