We’re back to Mount St. Helens. Yay! We’ve reached the part of our story where the trees have a very bad day. For many of them, it was their last.
Is it horrible of me to be glad? I mean, yes, terrible that majestic old forests got destroyed, but… visible geology!
Ah, cruel world! Now to read…
I can’t wait for your book on Mt Saint Helen’s. ;)
I have been loving your entries on Mt St Helens, both from the perspective of a layperson with an interest in (but barely functional knowledge of) geology and because it’s a walk down memory lane.
As I recall, there were some small trees which survived in otherwise devastated areas because they were completely buried in snow.
Add me to the list of those eager for a book!
Gloating over the death of innocent Arboreous-Americans!
Evil woman!
AHA!
I KNEW that somehow a woman was responsible for this!
